I think in 2002 or 2004 don't remember exactly but when I first configured the dial-up and open Yahoo web page it is such a proud feeling because i'm able to access internet from a village.

True,  but I emailed and applied to master's from that dial-up connection. I still remember the I login multiple times to see if I got admitted and receive I-20 to apply visa.

in usa campus we used to use 14 days free trial of AOL internet...mostly for pics in slow connection ...
