Solid axles, best offroading pickup truck and on top of it, name one pickup which is convertible other than gladiator.

It might not compete with f150 or ranger on road but it will be a beast offroad for sure.

Too early to call it is what i must say. Yeah none are convertible. What’s the point?

solid axles- are you wanna toss up your sweet a ss everytime you ride it?

Yeah they are strong, but at what cost? Do you know why makers switched from solid axles to ifs? Theres a reason behind it.

right now it’s all instagram wannabe overlanding/rock crawling hippies buying the craze. Wait till gas prices jack up and see where this crowd goes.

speaking of off-road worthy pickups?

lets talk about raptor with its sweet svt

leta talk about rebel

and then lets do the math for tacoma offroad pro and thundra offroad pro.

they all match up.

it all comes down to differentials and lockers. You have to shell up money to get them. Even for wrangler. Just cause it comes with ko2’s of 33” doesn’t mean they go all around with ease. No they are not.

you have to equip with higher gear ratios, sway bar links, uca’s,m for lift, lockers on both the axles and all other goodies.

Tacoma is a sedan on a truck chassis as far as the seating goes. Tried it, sucked ass. All ford vehicles have electrical issues as they don't balance the electrical load of the widgets to the circuitry, fuses blowing up for no reason, messing up the ECM, etc., Rams are nice but it is plagued by suspension and leaks.

Tundras are awesome reliability wise. They suck at MPG and tech. Same engine since 2007. There is a million mile tundra which was taken back by toyota. It is a beast.

Yep. Nenu ade cheppa toyota is way far behind with it’s gadgets when it comes to these lineups.

Tacoma lo kuda million mile maker undi. A guy from carolinas has it.

they are meant to go for ages with original tranny and motor. Check the roads, you will see many ‘90’s 4runner, t100’s . That’s itself should serve as testament for yoda’s reliability

unlike these jeep’s

You can get equally good off road version of F150, 1500 and Tundra. Jeeps were good until late 90s when the parts were made here. Right now they are plagued with numerous reliability issues.

Nope, wrangler TJ (97-2006) has bullet proof 4 liter inline 6 is the best in class. 2007 - 2011 bekar wranglers, then came the 3.6 pentastar which is OK. Now the new JL wranglers have issues but expected in the first years after complete refresh.

My point would be it's convertible  and none of the others are. It would be blast to surf beaches and better visibility in off roading with doors off. And it's not too early to call it as it would be a stretched out JLU.

Ifs vs solid axles is a discussion for another day as you and i would just go on on for pages raving about one's own interest.

Gladiator Rubicon by default comes with 4:1 TC, dana 44 axles, lockers and even sway bar disconnect with flip of a switch. it's my kind of beast for offroading. YMMV.

Yep, ade anna ga paina, it's just another whistle/bell for that.

nenu cheppedi kuda ade.. same configs be it OEM or ARB's if you equip, there are handy vehicles that can drag their rear's along with jeeps. In fact, they can go beyond and keep FCA Jeep in it's rear view mirror.

I know the scene of JK's, been there done that. no more again. went with FJ's on Yoda's and finally now settled with a fullsized BOF with FF/RR/Both locker equipped vehicle. I have a group of like minded folks on similar setup with 35" pentastar'd motor. they all came from TJ's with blown up motors and tranny's. Many folks lockers got splined up and eaten up by just little difference in wheel speeds on a snow run's.

As said, jeep's are equipped with good items but they just don't long, need to spend all your winters under it and come prepare for a spring run, two weeks later, they had to work their butt off on broken axles, ruptured boots etc.

Ade problem vetito.

There is no one beast in offroading. US offroad has nothing to compare with mighty aussies. They laugh with their a ss off with murican's offroading stuff. Yep they do get jeep's and use there too, but it's Yota's Lcruisers all they way their. Why? it's ruggedness and reliability. they are designed for 25years of life cycle in underdeveloped countries. There is a reason why UN uses 80 and 100 series Landcruisers in middle east and africa's.
