Amid growing Republican opposition to the emergency declaration, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced that the Senate will hold a vote on Thursday. The White House pushed this week to get Republicans to change their votes in order to kill the House-backed resolution, which would block the White House from using funds on the border wall without congressional approval.
