Taxes in India, why so much crying?

India lo govt meedha trust levels very low. social cohesiveness ledhu. Its not a civilization yet. has no collective consciousness.

Indian nationalism is just manufactured sh1t. but its getting there. people do pay taxes that are beneficial to them. eg. GST. I mean the cost of not paying GST is huge. Not the penalty but the cost.

but consumer facing businesses can avoid it. so when they can avoid it, they won't pay.

India lo extra ga, they hate their neighbours. many reasons, class, caste, religion, or just individualism. simple reservations enduku istharu, freebies enduku istharu ani telusukuney opika kooda undadhu people ki.

because upper class, the super rich class benefits from the infuion of cash into the economy.. next beneficiary is the middle class. the lowest class get crumbs or freebies. and they even get blamed for it. lol.

Its not your money. Its the govts money that you hold temporarily. It came to you, because it was designed that way, or by pure luck.

talent has mostly nothing to do with it. except if you are an extraordinary talent, or a mafia don who extorts money from people.

I was in a textile manufacturin cluster last year, called Tiruppur near coimbatore in TN. its a small town with many industrial units that make and sell tshirts for as low as 50rs.. good quality ones.

morning 3 am train from dhanbad (bihar I think), I saw about 2000 people getting down from it, in a sea of young happy faces going to work (including about 20% of them young girls) in town next day.

if they were lazy, why would they make this 24hr trip inside a compartment that can hold only 150 people?

9 out of 10 people will work if they can find it. but most of them don't have the skills reqd to manipulate themselves into a job. There are not many jobs available too. you want to legislate based on what 1 out of 10 people do, while ignoring the overwhelming majority want to do. lol.

you are consigning them for a life of hunger, failure, and perhaps as you put it 'a culture of freebie', because they have no other way.

The economy is a freebie by the govt. taxes are what keeps this freebie from getting out of hand (inequality and inflation).

people must be given basic economics education at school level, so young people (even in the age of internet) hold ignorant views on how economy functions.

There are other ways to run an economy. It requires negation of the govt, of international borders, etc. but people are not ready to listen to it.

middle class wants to have the cake and eat it too. lol entitled fcuks.

I used to have an inflated opinion on middle class, but they are as dumbfcuk as the upper class. in every country. except may be in some parts of Europe. They are highly functional intelligent racists.

US lo entha mandi taxes eggodthaaro telusa? Its almost on par with India. may be more. customer facing businesses always have the advantage of stiffing on taxes. Its not a big deal.

if they earn 'crores', its because they have manipulated the supply chain. may be think about it first. the money they don't pay as tax is a pittance compared to the system flaw they have exploited successfully.

should someone or a group make that much money just selling veggies? lol. If yes, how much must a knowledge worker like a scientist make?

If economy is based on demand. its easy.. people need basic stuff, and then they need lots of s3x. so people who sell these will become rich. big deal. They'll choke its supply and release it at the right times to make the max profit. it doesn't need a genius to make a lot of money, just cunning and ruthlessness, and basic lack of humanity is enough. being a genius is helpful ofcourse. it makes it a childs play.

that's economy for you today.

yeah, nobody likes to pay taxes. anywhere in the world. Unless they absolutely have to.

and its okay. taxes don't matter much. and if they do, govt will find ways to collect them, no problem.

MS educated person like you, with the entire internet in your fingertips, hold an opinion that is patently wrong and cruel towards your fellow human beings, without even knowing that it is wrong and cruel.

enduku ila ayyindi antaav? is it human tendency to believe everything that 10 people tell them without thinking about it critically first?

lazy ideas do seem to travel much faster in this age of social media. especially among educated people. Other than economists, most other professionals hold this kind of half baked view, when its not even that hard to read up on how economy works. Are people getting dumber collectively, while improving efficiencies in their own areas of work? possibly.

Absolutely. people will always look for easy answers , where they are not the villians.

this is why democracy sucks. so does socialism, and communism. They seriously underestimate how dumb even a successful professional can be.
