Dentist told me that I have to go through surgery. Would cost 2k with my insurance. Searched online and got my wisdom teeth removed for $200. Told them that I don’t have insurance.

If they are making you unconscious with anesthesia, you need someone to drive you home. With local anesthesia, you can drive yourself home.

There won’t be any pain during extraction. There will be bleeding for the rest of the day and you won’t be able to speak due to swelling and numbness. Better to schedule it on a Friday. There will be pain after numbness wears out but if you use pain killer med as prescribed (even before pain surfaces) you won't even feel the pain as it will get suppressed. You have to use pain killer like Ibuprofen (Motrin, etc) they prescribe for a day or two as needed and stop once the pain subsides. Another medicine (amoxicillin, etc) for 2 weeks to prevent infection. You can eat ice cream, yoghurt or other cold items to heal the stitches. If you are lactose intolerant, you can eat cold boiled potatoes, etc.

I got my wisdom tooth removal done ( both sides). Oka side bane vundi, other side horrible pain vachindi edo dry socket anta, took me few weeks to recover. Unfortunate circumstance but thats the only draw back for wisdom tooth. Cost wise 1k but because of insurance 200$ iyyindi including treatment for dry socket. Had to rely on pain killers for couple of weeks, pain ekkuva vundi first few days inconvenient to eat. have to rely of soup and apple sauce etc until pain subsides. One of my friend also got it done but no side effects, he was fine within 3 days. Hope this helps

so peekestaru..else it will mess up with existing tooth frame and cause issues.

plus wisdom tooth andariki ravalani rule ledu.
