I doubt 2019 lo he will come so early.

BJP and JSP...both the candidates are non-locals. If I'm not wrong, then Vizag lo oka 10-15% voters non telugu non andhra voters vuntaru anukunta.

This project actually started with a mission to make Rayalaseema drought free.

Rayalaseema has scarcity of water and rainfall and is one of the most heavily drought hit places of India. On the other hand, Godavari River is the most flooded river in South India. So, there is a surplus and deficit.

Polavaram project aims to give water from Godavari to Krishna delta.

Due to the huge budget of the Polavaram Project and dependency on the central government, it is estimated to take another 5-7 years to complete. CM Chandrababu Naidu has taken up Rs 1300 Crore Pattiseema lift irrigation project as an immediate solution to provide water to Krishna Delta farmers and solve water woes of the dry Rayalaseema region.

 

 

 

80 TMC of water at a cost of 150 crores in electric bill.
80 TMC=2265347727360 litres of water
1500 litres of water at a cost of 1 rupee
In 2015, 8.8 TMC of water saved crops worth 2500 crores. Imagine what 80 TMC of water can do to the state.
Also Pattiseema takes the burden off Srisailam dam to release water to Nagarjuna sagar. This enables the usage of water in Srisailam for rayalseema purpose.
