H1B Ext and transfer paralle any issues..?

Hi current H1B expiring in May 23, 2019,  i had an intervew with another  client through different employer ,  vendor received positive feednback waiting for final confirmation. current employer asking documents to file extension,  if he files extension / extension is pending , can i transfer my H1B  with current I-797  which is valid up to may 23,2019?

yes, you can transfer while extension is going on. Once transfer is approved you can start working with new employer. and you dont need to mind about outcome of extension. But if extension get denied before your transfer gets approve then your transfer will also get denied.

so dont do extension in premium and do transfer in premium.
