1.      3+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements from the client/business 

2.      3+ years of experience as QA Tester/Lead

3.      3+ years of business analysis in the healthcare industry
 

·        Work with end users/customers to understand and further develop requirements.

·        Serve as a key resource in decomposing and solutioning complex analytic requirements

·        Recognize, gather, correlate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and devise solutions and alternatives; and make appropriate recommendations

·        Able to present information in a variety of formats (charts, graphs, tables) to help leadership and stakeholders understand requirements and issues that surface.

·        Ability to explain technical issues in words the customer will understand

·        Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, using a range of tools, including MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS Visio.

·        Proficient in SQL to allow for data analysis and data exploration of quality issues that surface.

·        Responsible for support of an enterprise quality assurance program, working with NY APD data governance committee resources to continuously discover and remediate source data issues through time.

Required Qualifications:

•        5+ years of Healthcare payer data analysis experience with one or more of the following: Medicaid data, Medicare data, Healthcare Exchange data or Commercial payer data

•        5+ years of Data Warehousing experience

•        5+ years of data analysis experience using SQL

•        BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

•        Experience with COTS transaction validation software applications
