The top cop of the district in his complaint said that the MP made false allegations against him and the complaint was registered at Srikakulam two town police station. Deeply hurt with the allegations SP Venkataratnam claimed that he has been in services for nearly three decades and there is not even a single complaint against him till date. As part of a conspiracy, YSRCP had targeted him. The election commission has transferred few police officials and intelligence chief based on the complaints by YSRCP. This has irked the ruling TDP. Though the AP government followed the directives of election commission, it excluded intelligence chief from the transfer. TDP also alleged that YSRCP is deliberately indulging in influencing election commission officials for their own political benefits.
