This tweet could be true...

All the national projects under execution now, are all gravity fed multi purpose major irrigation projects but none of them is a lift irrigated one. 

Guidelines lo aithe ekada lift irrigation ani mention cheyaledu that Lift irrigation cannot be considered as major irrigation national project

Gravity is nature and free.motor ki power petti water paiki poyatam not economical, environmental, expensive, never been succesful.small scale are succesful as they serve short distance and for drinking .not for agri as the return on investment is loss.here all 10 districts paying for 1 project to serve 1 district that too when it rains heavy and MH releases water

Good point. Kaaleshwaram will be a huge challenge too. Dora is taking huge risk by trying in such a large scale. He should have started small.

Kaleshwaram and Palamur-Rangareddy are two entirely different projects kaka...

Palamuru aithe more or less 100% lift...You would be lifting water and filing up reservoirs unlike Kaleshwaram

Why polavaram lifts water? Sagar srisailam lifts? Do you know the motors size of kaleswaram? Electricity bill telsa? Sagar production telsa? Water etti posedi for drinking as its viable.evadanna agri ki etti postada? Its huge loss .tellodu pichoda? vaniki poyarada?

Telusu, the magnitude is much bigger, do you jow much it irrigates? About 30 lakh acres, do you how much is being spent on raitu bandu and free electricity? Do you know how much ground water is being depleted? Do you know jow employment it generates? Do you how much revenue it brings to the state coffers? Do you how much industry will expand of having sufficient water? Do you how much agony it solves of not having drinking water?

all these out weighs the maintenance costs of few thousand crores
