According to the Israel Defense Forces, an estimated 40,000 protesters gathered at the border fence separating Gaza from Israel to mark the one-year anniversary of mass demonstrations calling for the "right of return" for Palestinian refugees to go back to what is now Israel. Two people were killed and at least 200 more were injured on Saturday, according to the Gaza health ministry.
