Bahraini protesters are calling for political reform and democratic rights ahead of the Formula One championship race on Sunday. Similar Grand Prix protests in the country have been taking place since 2012.

I’m not sure what an F1 franchise can do for a country’s problem. They are just using the circuit and generating revenue and they are not going to dictate a government on what to do
