Yes houses are cheap in Bothell. But be prepared to stay on road forever(405 for bellevue and I5 for seattle downtown.)

Horrible commute. My colleagues are repenting their decision to buy near Exit 26(Bothell area). 

If you are married and no kids, probably easy to go park and ride and then catch bus(For this you need to start VERY early).

Currently I am hating this place. Unfortunately both needs to get job at same time to make a move(which seems a distant dream  ) and interviews are getting unreasonable.
