E OCI ichina waste e, count kaadu. 2009 lo Venkataraman Ramakrishnan ki prize ochina kani India ki count kale, same prize both US ki and UK ki count ayyindi because he has dual citizenship of USA and UK. He had OCI, but they didn't count it for India.

Ramakrishnan downright rude when Indians called to congratulate him in 2009. He said: “We are all human beings, and our nationality is simply an accident of birth.

I don't know if I would call him rude. Academia lo ilanti nationality wise distinction undakudadu ani undi. Besides he was insulted in India before this happened, because of beaurocracy in India.
