Initiallly as per the 2005 environmental cleareance, the estimated flood diversion and storage stood at 35 lakh cusecs and accordingly the displacement of villages,submerged areas rehabilation was included in the project. 

But with changed designs, the AP Govt now wants to increase the storage and diversion of flood control to upto 50 lakh cusecs, which will eventually raise the water levels in Telangana, Orissa and slightly in Chattisgarh. 

Apart from 7 sub merged mandals, another 100-250 villages are now subjected to submerge partially to fully of AP Govt goes ahead with storing 50 lakh cusecs. 

The environmental assessment was done for 35 lakhs cusescs only and once a project gets environmental clearnece, it is valid for 5 years and has to be renewed. When it was renewed in 2015, The study was again donewith respect to 35 lakh cusescs but nkt 50 lakh cusecs. This is the issue. 

TS govt can take it easy...maha aithe 100 villages, pothe poni ani oka 100 crores pedithe rehabilitation aipotadi...but here is the difficult thing, a submerged areas la konni chenchu groups and protected tribes vunai...vellani rehab cheyadam chala kastam and qnd legally very challenging. Remember the sentinese tribe of Andamans ? Ie chenchu tribe kuda such protected tribes kindaki vastaru and valla habitation ni kuda disturb cheyodhu, antha tough laws vuntayi..

ie issue TRs govt resolve cheaikokpothey, evadanna public interest litigation file chesthe ekanga government ni bartaraf chesi padestaru, National Green Tribunal odu grudha palkodtadu tribes rehab sarigga lekapothey...

Efficient leader ite he will sit down and clarify other states doubts and dont waste time. Or supreme court lo case thondaraga hearing ki vachela ina try sesthadu.

But Nakka CBN just wants to use this issue for politics.

Kani a lopu rehab sarigga leka evadanna public interest litigation file chesina, AP Govt ki emi kadu, Telangana government ki padtadi...

as usual CBN is trying to play safe and throw ball into TG’s court but TG realized it and files a case not just in court but also national green tribunal...

Vundavalli said AP Government has to get some clearance approval from supreme court 6 months before they can supply water through polavaram. But Sendral sir matram first 2018 lo ichestham water ani PPT ,  ippudu emo June lo lo water ichestham ani PPT. 

I Hope supreme court considers all issues before giving approvals.
