Apostille DOB cheyala OCI apply ki? You mean for OCI renewal.  First time new born baby ki usa lo undagane OCI apply cheste just birth certificate copy adugutaru and usa passport apply ki birth certificate original theeskoni malli return mail chestaru.  what is this Alostolle DOB and e scenario lo idi avasaram.  Parents and kid india ki complete ga ellipothe just birth certificate original untay anthe.

For Apostille apply chesetappatiki if  DOB cert  issue date is  one year lopale undali. if DOB cert issue date more than one year ayite new DOB required. One of my friend applied for Apostille DOB cert issue date is more than year. They sent back the Apostille application and said new DOB cert is required .My friend lives in india and for Apostille applied by his cousin in Texas state.

My friend applied OCI  for his son who is  on Visit visa in India .So it required Apostille and for Apostille new DOB cert which issue date is in a year .

Conversion of PIO card to OCI card

The Bureau of Immigration will accept PIO cards as valid travel document till 30th September, 2019, along with valid foreign passport. Indian Immigration Check Post(s) will continue to consider all PIO cards valid for exit/entry from/into India till 30th September, 2019. The extension of timeline is subject to the condition that in the meantime if any deadline is notified by the ICAO, thereby making hand written PIO cards invalid, then PIO cardholders would have to obtain appropriate visa from India Missions/Posts abroad. This situation will be further reviewed in September, 2019.

All PIO cardholders are meanwhile advised to convert their PIO cards to OCI cards well in time.

hold a valid PIO Card. Am I required to convert this to an OCI Card? (The Prime Minister has announced that PIO Cards will be deemed to be equal to OCI Cards.) Will my PIO Card be valid beyond the conversion deadline?
A:

It is not compulsory to convert your valid PIO Card to an OCI Card, as all PIO Cards are deemed to be equivalent to OCI Cards and have been declared valid for lifetime.
