Bhujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) chief Mayawait is campaigning in Andhra Pradesh with Pawan Kalya's Jana Sena Party. Speaking to the media, Mayawati appealed to the people of AP to vote for Jana Sena.

"Andhra people have seen the governments of both national and regional parties. I urge them not to fall in the trap of Telugu Desam and YSR Congress. AP is looking at new leadership and I'm sure Pawan Kalyan will deliver the best if he becomes the chief minister," said Mayawati.

Criticising national parties, Mayawati said, due to Congress party's failures, the people of Telangana demanded for a separate state and later BJP promised 'Special Category Status' to AP and denied. so the national parties have completely failed and they are using minorities and backward for vote bank politics.

Speaking next Pawan said he wishes to see Mayawati as the next Prime Minister of India. "After BJP and Congress, BSP is the third biggest national party in the country. The nation needs her guidance and administrative calibre to take forward the country by leaps and bounds," stated Pawan.

This is for the first time, Pawan has openly made a statement that Mayawati should be made the PM.
