IT Raids at TTD Chairman's Residence

The income tax department officials are holding raids at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav's residence in Proddutur, AP. Sudhakar Yadav is Telugu Desam's MLA candidate from Maidakuru.

The initially reports of the IT raids claim that the officials have seized large amount of cash and documents related to Sudhakar Yadav. The TTD chairman is restricted from coming out of his residence and speak to the media. We are yet to get complete details of the raids.

As per the media reports, TDP is alleging that these raids are on the lines of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and suspects that more raids are likely to be held on TDP leaders and sympathisers in the coming days. TDP is also looking at the possibilities of giving a counter to IT raids in the state.
