The First Indian Filmmaker In Madame Tussauds

The wax museum in London, Madame Tussauds, is one of the popular tourist attractions in the world where many wax statues of our favourite celebrities, political icons, and famous personalities are put in a display. There are no rules and boundaries and you are allowed to click pictures literally with any celebrity statue.

Yesterday, another wax statue entered the league of Madame Tussauds and that is of Bollywood's filmmaker and producer, Karan Johar. He has unveiled his statue along with his mother Hiroo Johar and a few friends on April 3, 2019.

2019 has been a popular year for Indian celebrities to reach Madame Tussauds and many have been honoured with real-looking wax statues. Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, Mahesh Babu's wax statues were seen this year, leaving Indians in pride.

Luckily, all the statues made this year looked by a body double and hugely impressed the people with the art. Karan Johar also entered Madame Tussauds as the first Indian filmmaker ever. Shweta Bachchan, Kajol, Malaika Arora, Manisha Koirala, and many others have congratulated KJO for unveiling his doppelganger.
