Trump backs off border closure, gives Mexico a 'one-year warning'

Earlier in the week, President Trump threatened to close parts of the US-Mexico border if he doesn't get a deal with Congress, or if Mexico doesn't take action to mitigate illegal immigration. On Thursday, Trump changed course, threatening tariffs as an alternative and giving Mexico a one-year warning to curb drug trafficking.
