Some Chinese buy with cash. Ma pinni valla home in irvine 1.2 M with cash konindi Chinese woman that too during recession (in 2009 July to be precise) . Its not very unusual.

I think, ficnen wants to know who bought homes with all cash. Title companies will report all cash home purchases to FinCen. Many wealthy counties are included in the requirements.
