CBN Sympathy Drama OR Excuse for defeat?

CBN has enacted another drama 1 day before elections. He met the Election Commissioner and spoke in a threatening manner. 

He has violated all Election Code and conducted a press conference as well.

Is this an attempt to garner sympathy by staging a protest and trying to get arrested? OR Getting ready with an excuse for the fate written on the wall?
