I got 1.24. My credit score was 653 then.

No one uses banks/cu for car loans. You just take the approval notice to the dealership to have their OEM financing arms match it, since dealerships get rebates from OEM financing (Toyota financial services, honda financial services, etc). 

In case you go with cu/banks, they have  a system where DCU will transfer the money to the dealership, as the title will be held by the credit union.

what happened in my case., not intentionally though but could be applied for you..

 

we send the bank the dealer agreement copy of prices of all the services and accessories we want to take. nen oka service modify chesa and one accessory drop ayya.. apatike check pampinchadu dcu vadu.. so the extra money ki dealer gave me check after 1 week.

 

nu kavali ani add chesi theesey for the money.. but nu before delivery modify cheyocha services ani double check chesko.. of course full cancellation you can do till the day you give check...
