Asking for bank statements is bit too far! They can ask for payslips but are they legally allowed to ask for bank statements?

Nope its common. Vallu bank statement pay slips are in sync and if employer is paying right aey chusedi. Why not? DOnt they see bank statements for stamping?

Yes they want to know if employer is paying on time as per LCA. So paytubs and bankstatements chustaru site visit ki vaste.
