Lol never put all your eggs in the same basket. Savings lo yeste, ofcourse you're losing money, because you're not even making enough to counter inflation. Use the 4% rule to determine how much you need to retire depending on how much you think you will use per year and how much return on investment you expect.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/four-percent-rule.asp

If you are careful enough with your investments, you will get alteast 4% and if you know what you're doing you will get 7%.

All this is true if you are having $750k and returning at 45.  But if you are retiring at 65 appudu riskier investments and brokerage investments sodhi cheyaru.  That is additional headache in a peaceful retirement.

4% rule accounts for you getting older and the inflation rate... Besides if you're 65, it's alright if you lose some money...more than when you're 45. I am not talking about active stock markets man, day trading isn't as risky.  If you invest in mutual funds it's less risky as well. You can also retire at 35 also if you have 750k.

So on average $500k to $750k... ikkada earnings and savings tho 3 years ki $100k max save chesina koda. It will take minimum 15 years at this rate. Appatiki koda same number applicable avtunda.

Manaki IT jobs kakunda vere option ledu. Entha earn cheyochu yearly so that savings can be done faster. And 15 years can be reduced to10 years. Considered family expenses too after getting married.

Forget saving $750k in 10 years unless you have an career path which will earn you above $150k/year at least 3-4 years down the line.  That would cover your marriage and family expenses.  this $150k in South/MidWest/SoutWest not in NE or Cali.

$100k jobs with family toh forget $750k target.

Question is 10 years lo yenta possible ani.  25 years ikkada chakiri cheyalante visa issues burnout issues untai ani.

10 years lo it is impossible to raise $750k savings with salary alone.  Riskier investments cheste okay.
