People losing their mind over trash person Modi.

dudes, they didn't win because of Hindutva. and yes, I speak anecdotally from extensive traveling across india, that people are perhaps more aware of their identity, but that is not their number 1 criteria to vote for a party.

they voted because Opposition hasn't provided a credible alternative. like when someone asks 'if not Modi, who?', opposition stammers into Modi's record in corruption, demonetization etc., and not what they have to offer.

They literally didn't campaign much on NYAY scheme that RG announced in a grand fashion. then why did he even announce it?

This election was about Modi, Modi, Modi.. and people just gave their votes to the name they heard most.

there was no Modi wave, or India becoming more Hinduised (it always was, even before BJP was born). Its just stupid opposition. or opposition who don't want to occupy the economic left, and address actual issues of the people.

Modi will always be a trash person, and a dumb person.  pity Indian people.

Even the person who taught politics if any, to modi wouldn't be as confident as you on modi. :giggle:

They literally didn't campaign much on NYAY scheme that RG announced in a grand fashion. then why did he even announce it? - they even knew it's a crap, bull$hit and cannot fulfill, so handsup !!

This election was about Modi, Modi, Modi.. and people just gave their votes to the name they heard most. - not agreed, telugu ppl heard CBN,CBN,CBN,CBN but still lost. And ppl heard RG/RG/RG/RG for a decade but still lost.

there was no Modi wave, or India becoming more Hinduised (it always was, even before BJP was born). - Not Agreed, saying no Modi wave is either foolish act or hatredness on him; Winning 2nd time with thumping majority is not that easy and I would say the more credit goes to Modi/Shah.

Its just stupid opposition. or opposition who don't want to occupy the economic left, and address actual issues of the people. - 100% Agreed.

bullshit. everywhere I went, I heard Jagan, not cbn. 9 out of 10 I spoke to voted for jagan. RG is portrayed as a dumb fool, when he's fairly smart. but he's not smart as a politician. He's smart as a rich well behaved man would be. but that's not going to get him votes. Modi is absolutely dumb, but he knows how to excite people.

there was no wave. people were not excited for Modi or anything. people mostly voted because they don't care for the opposition. At best they may have sympathy for Modi because they believed his lie about selling tea.

Modi implemented all congi policies, what new policies do Congi have that won't be implemented by Modi? All schemes that modi came up with, are INC schemes. he literally ran an INC govt, without the efficiency of an INC govt. he and Shah do politics 24/7, forgeting that they are elected to govern, not to be politicians all through.

what agreed? policies that will defeat teh BJP will require a class war to happen. lower class ppl voting because of jealousy against others can be leveraged by both BJP/Cong under the right conditions. until then this silly meaningless hindutva-secular dance will happen in Indian politics. To me its clear that both Hindutva-secular are sides of the same coin that keeps India backward. An excuse to implement policies that help people of india, and to do politics that are anti-caste.

see, you want to credit Modi, go ahead. while I agree that Modi/Shah campaigning was top notch, I just dont believe that Hindutva won the election for Modi.

again campaigning, and governing are two different things. I absolutely hate Modi/Shah, and wish they die a horrible death. Its no secret, right?

you guys are so dishonest. take this db itself.

CBN is spoken of as a joke. his defenders are all shut down.

whereas if I speak against Modi, you and others like you, come and attack my family, and then gloat about it.

do you see the difference?

but its good that you guys are dishonest. because you'll never understand why you won, and how to keep winning.

Modi/Shah are only as good as the loud assholes they get to work for their party. and if your inductive reasoning goes like this, pretty sure you'll be losing pretty soon, and very badly.

collective failure of opposition.

Regional parties coming together to form a government is strictly not acceptable and a failed mantra which was again attempted only to make Modi stronger.

nothing is not acceptable. They just had to work hard to clearly state what they do, and how they will do it.

not just shout Modi bad, Modi bad, Modi bad.

it worked in TN, because TN is full of casteist gorreys. I'm really surprised DMK won that much. I thought they'll win max 15. DMK also has nothing to offer its electorate. this entire election is a joke, as far as governance ideas were concerned.

Why didn't INC campaign on NYAY scheme? its ridiculous, why announce a scheme, and then not talk about it.

its not a question of winning or losing the elections, atleast with a better result, the election cycle will be easier for the opposition. Now they have to start from scratch. they handed this election on a platter to Modi.

first of all, who says people want a strong central govt. its just what jobless pundits who have nothing better to do with their time say.

people don't know what they want. they are blank slates. they have a vague idea of what they want, and it may include a central govt, but their mind can be changed.

but its a long time project, not happening within a single election cycle lasting 2 months.

if INC has no plans, it can just dissolve itself.

- giving freebies itself is  utterwaste  irrespective of any party, instead show the oppurtunity to generate income; I like one thing from AP ppl (middle class ppl) - most of the middle class ppl don't depend on govt, they do some business and generate income, they survive on their own hardwork;

bullshit. everywhere I went, I heard Jagan, not cbn. 9 out of 10 I spoke to voted for jagan. RG is portrayed as a dumb fool, when he's fairly smart. but he's not smart as a politician. -that depends on the situation(s), prior to 2014 also I heard Jagan's name but he lost, so simply chanting someone's name will not get you into Power - that is what I tried to say.

there was no wave. people were not excited for Modi or anything. people mostly voted because they don't care for the opposition. At best they may have sympathy for Modi because they believed his lie about selling tea.

- Sympathy may work once, but it's not always. You may hate Modi and say no wave but who cares - ppl gave a clear verdict !!

Modi implemented all congi policies, what new policies do Congi have that won't be implemented by Modi? - It doesn't matter whose policies they were, all matters how you implement it.

what agreed? - Its just stupid opposition fighting on Modi personally rather than his failures of implementing GST/Denom.

policies that will defeat teh BJP will require a class war to happen. lower class ppl voting because of jealousy against others can be leveraged by both BJP/Cong under the right conditions. until then this silly meaningless hindutva-secular dance will happen in Indian politics.
