kashmir is not just kashmir.. there is jammu, ladakh, kashmir valley, pak kashmir...why would ladakh and jammu want to go with pak seeing what happened.. you have to know history of pak starting from its independence.. what caused partition of west and east pak, what happened during 1970 afghan war,  1990, 9/11, laden and now. Atleast india has some kind of democracy and try to hear minorities issues.. do you know a pariticular sect to muslim, all hindus are not allowed to apply for govt positions?.  india is not ideal but atleast people will hear you..

ok now you are down to 60% not all 60% want to go and join pak.  the three options are kashmir as independent state including azad pak, join with pak or join with india. king has signed to join india..UN wants pak to pull out the troops 1st. which Pakistan will never do. the only option india has is to handle  j&k which it is responsible. given the history of pak and how it treats it states. No sane mind would like to join pak.

whatever you are saying is completely irrelevant to the topic which is 'Amit shah is going to do something, and Kashmir will be ours'.

this is in direct confrontation with the wishes of the people of the state to remain independent, or at the least have army special powers in the region removed.
