Ok, good bro, ma place lo Isha foundation ledhu.

Did it help you only on Mental well-being? any effect on physical well-being?

I workout and do cardio regularly. It helped calm down my anxiety though.

only wrong is how trust worthy the preaching person is...there are many allegations and contros on sadguru also just like every other fake baba on streets, what i am trying to say here is to preach its not easy thing, he may not be the right person to preach...he is not a god person...and people should be aware....he is not a saint person anyway then why do anyone has to follow...perhaps they're stupid and thats nothing wrong in following these fake guruji's ? huh...

them/people believe because of no awareness is what i feel...people beleived so many fake babas over the years/centuries...they did realize the fact later as well (nitayanands swamy for instance, or tons of street babas).. so people belive not just because it suits them, people believe because they just didnt know that these fake babas are stupid, also no awareness..also no control on oneselves, like i always say you're the hero of your life, you know what is right and wrong, so go for it, if you're not sure about yourself then fix it is the solution rather than being dependent on someone... JMO...

What are those allegations and controversies?

yes sometimes he makes  fun of the questions and i think it depends on the questioner and kind of question. kind of some sort of stupid question (personal opnion). you should see youth and truth program (esp one with nalsar students). if he didnot want to be asked tough questions he wouldnt start a program which is all about asking questions.

His talk on "ignorance being bliss" is plain bullsh1t. Indian traditions for millennia have talked about "what prevents from achieving enlightenment (gyanodaya)". These traditions provide an answer in terms of agyaana/avidya/etc. If we use the English word, "ignorance" plays a huge explanatory role in explaining what prevents us from getting enlightened. Now we hear all crap  like "ignorance is bliss". Yes, Ignorance is bliss, if you are running a comedy show or writing movie dialogues. Today, we don't even have a proper answer to "what is knowledge(or sciences)". It doesn't prevent one from talking about "agyaana/ignorance".

I don't have any other issues with Sadguru. I don't care whether he charges $5K for inner engineering, whether he owns two helicopters, whether he flies in the first class, whether he is charming, whether he has 'stolen' land from the government, since my judgement doesn't depend on the latter set of factors.

Definitely he is not the guru to follow. But you can always listen to someone either sadhguru or your friends. Yet follow what your conscience says.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, no matter whoever said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. (Buddha)

If you are real serious about finding a guru to whom you can listen, I am not sure if you can find someone.

Even the preachings of Buddha what we have as of today are not written by him. They were passed to followers and someone has scripted them after ages and it is tough to find the original version.

You can read Vedas or you can follow preachings of someone who has read them.

Between what has triggered you to think about relying on someone.

what was the context? or could you please point me to the talk that you're referring to?

The perfect guru disciple relationship would be like yogananda and sri yukteswar not like these digital self proclaimed babas and their disciples.

I have watched some of his videos on scientific theories and he seems to me as biased. One video was where he was giving lot of credit to Sri ramanujam for the equations on black holes , but it was Einstein vision but he did not give credit at all in the entire video. There is few others videos as well where he talks without backing up with solid facts and evidences.

never heard these names of the gurus. Did you heard/know about srila prabhupad, founder of ISKON , "hare krishna" movement who migrated to US back in 1970's.
