The US and Russian presidents met in front of the press in Osaka ahead of a bilateral meeting at the G20 Summit. Trump was asked by a reporter whether he would tell Russia not to meddle in the 2020 US presidential election, in response to which he turned to Putin with a smile and told him "don't meddle in the election."
