Michael de Adder said his contract with a New Brunswick newspaper ended after a political cartoon about the image of Óscar Alberto Martínez Ramírez and his daughter, Valeria, who drowned while attempting to cross the Rio Grande. The cartoon never ran in the paper, but went viral on social media.
