Offcourse aah godavalu and attitude didn't make him look good...

Aadu jump ayye time ki was kind of scoring tons of runs was being noticed more and Dilip Vengsarkar kuda cheppadu we used to keep constant look on him and A tours lo manchi success Robin Singh was coach then straight away chance raakapovadaaniki oka kaaranam our middle order was super strong but was surely seen as future pick adhe time lo eedu chesina pedha thappu ICL ki povatam and BCCI enforced ban of 2-3 yrs, but later revoke cheyyagaane Sachin insisted MI team to pick Rayudu & Rajagopal Satish from ICL and gave second life daani tarvaata Baroda Ranji team ki aadaadu due to good performances he was picked for Indian team...

More over Rayudu was U-19 captain guys like Irfan Pathan and few other fringe players guess raina kuda adhe batch anukunta if i am right... Captaincy time lo on field during a game lo oka player ni dhavada meeda kottadu may be casually or just to control him saw it on TV...

was he really scoring 'tons' of runs? or is it just build up by media, ever since he was captain in u-19 world cup. raina, dhawan, karthik were his teammates.  I've only heard legendary stories of this asshole. He was banned from the semifinals against pak which india lost.

and when I finally saw him bat, made me puke. such an ugly player.

but then  even Virat Kohli's batting in u-19 finals against south africa I watched in 2008 made me wanna puke. and kohli actually made a hundred.

why do you even bother, when you can't obviously keep up with me?

Rayudu ki ichina build up, inkevariki ivvaledhu. too much. vaadiki antha scene ledhu. edho IPL level ki okay.

the only other player build up that comes close is Kedhar Jadhav. one guy earnestly told me that sachin and ganguly tried their best to keep him away, because they are scared that he'll hog all the limelight. hehe..

Yes he was scoring well...  Guess it was in 2003 -04 he was in his peaks but was difficult for him to break in to the team since our middle order was so strong & Settled...

He scored a 177 to win a match single handedly against England, robin singh was coach of the team then...He was like very much on the fringe to break in to the Indian team but due to some wrong steps spoiled his career add to this his attitude and tempered behaviour dragged him down more...

Rayudu appeared in all matches for Hyderabad in the 2002–03 Ranji Trophy and amassed a total of 698 runs at an average of 69.80 to finish third on the leading run-scorers list. During the tournament, playing only his third Ranji game, Rayudu scored 210 and 159 not out against Andhra in the same match and "pressed his claims for an India cap".He became the youngest player in the history of Ranji Trophy to score a double century and a century in the same match.

In 2003, Rayudu played extensively for India A on its West Indies and England tours. He averaged 87 on the England tour following which experts opined that he is "sure to play for India in the near future". ESPNcricinfo wrote about the 17-year-old: "Touted as the next big hope for Indian middle-order batting, Rayudu has had the critics gushing about his scintillating strokeplay and his composure under pressure." However he had a disappointing stint with India Seniors at the Challenger Trophy in September 2003, where his perceived weakness against the short ball was exploited. He then failed to make an impression in the Emerging Players Tournament after which he played four matches in the following Ranji season with an average of over 54. He captained India Under-19s to the title at the Asia Under-19 tournament, with an unbeaten fifty in the final.

he didn't do much in ranji. his score was against eng u-19 kadha? the standards of u-19 are so pathetic. the last time I watched kohli was captain, and he was so crap, even when he was making a 100.

I don't think he was ever consistent over few seasons. I may be wrong. yuvraj, kaif etc were fast tracked into the team. i don't think they played much ranji. may be he hoped he would be fasttracked too, and took it easy.
