By the way HR1044 is not senate bill.

it’s a house bill. Senate bill is S.386. Which(S.386) Is a companion version of house bill HR1044 in senate bill.

so, how you think HR1044 house bill passes in senate?

Yes, basic ga reservation system theesesinattu.

But, some illiterate vomericans think that, its a loss to them. No, may be IT field become more competitive and chetizens need to always run for their money by honing their skills all the time (which they don’t like).

But, its a boon to low-wage non-IT citizens, as it prevents outsiders from ROW to compete with their jobs, and gives them the much needed financial security.

1044 lo 2 aspects unnayi kada.

1. Removal of per country cap of 7% on employment based GCs.

2. Increase family cap from 7 to 15%.

Ultimate intention of both is to clear the backlogs, by adjusting the caps (not by increasing the GCs by any means).

This means more GCs for IND and China and more people waiting in the line will get GCs, which obviously will have impact on IT field.

In the contrary, with the status-quo rule, more non-it people from ROW would take the lion’s share and give tough time to low-wage citizens of USA.
