H1b question

I am on H1b through company A remote job and I got another offer from company B which is also remote job and they are willing to file my H1B. my contract will end this oct so Before leaving company A, I want to work for a couple of months for company B and decide.so can I have two H1B's at the same time? for suppose let’s say for some reason company B h1b got rejected. Will it affect my current H1B (company A)? Please let me know. Thanks

You can work 20 Hrs with 2 companies, but I don't think either employer will allow it. If you start working for 1 company, you cannot work for the other company. Basically you cannot be on 2 payrolls simultaneously unless you work at 2 locations for 20 hrs each. Company B tho premium processing lo H1b transfer file cheyamanu, you will get to know the result in 2 weeks, then give a 2 weeks notice to company A. Company A will eventually send USCIS there notice that you left them.

you can work for multiple employers , but one must be part time .

Your ability to work 40 hours for each employer depends upon your contract with each employer. You need an H-1B for every employer you work for, even for concurrent employment, assuming both employment contracts do not forbid this. If the b petition gets denied, it should not affect your H-1B with a unless a has other grounds for withdrawal of sponsorship
