Pros: eye contact istadu , if we say number or letters he will follow them but he will say next letter example: if we ask to say 17 he will say 18 , 7 he says 8, 19 he says tanty. 29 says thaty. Saying Amma , ammamma, akka, car, cow. He identifies some body parts.

Cons: edges chooste head banging, too much moving here and there , he does not pointing to an object what he needs. Keep things in a pattern like bricks, balls, bowling bars,

Doctor Evo questions adigindi then said medium risk annadi.

First steps ni contact avvamannaru. Any idea is it useful.

Hmm..frien's cousin vaala son vunnadu. Chinnapatinunchi vundhi Vaadiki ippudu almost 8yrs i think, but still alaage vunnaadu. Starting lo chupinchaaru, but taruvaatha li8 theesukunnaru and the biggest mistake they did was giving by smartphone.  Vaadu dhaani pattukoni inka asalu develop kaaledhu...

My sincere suggestion is to interact with ur son and dedicate ur or ur's wife whole time for him. YOU have to change first by not using any smartphones/tablets/any electronic devices in home and do not use TV unnecessarily.  Just spend atmost time with him and give ur pure love, that itself will cure him and ofcourse, doctors cheppinatlu aa programs lo enroll chepinchu.

India ki ippudu pampinchavaddhu - u spend time with ur kid for next 6 months and if u have the confidence then slowly u can send. India ki pampisthe pamper chesthaaru, vaadu adigindhi ichesthaaru which may spoil him even more....

The mother's LOVE will cure anything bro - just have faith in it and do ur best.

I know it's easy to say these , but thappadhu bro...

As long as he is maintaining eye contact.. that is good. No need to worry. Seems konchem sensory issues vunnattunnayi...in my view Ind ki pampinchadam best.. more attention vuntundi.. never leave that kid alone.. edokati interact cheyisthu vundali..US lo quality therapy vuntundi kaani once a week antaru.. ind lo aithe every day you can have him 3 sessions with less cost.. but choosing the right therapy center is big task.. oka business laaga aipoindi ind lo .. veedhiki oka center pettaru...

Bro Autism lo kooda there are many types, severe, medium, mild. Mild and medium vallaki ventane speech, aba and OT start cheste by 5 to 6 usually they will get close to normal. Severe aite konchem kashtam. But from what you are explaining he is mild to medium. Don't send him to India, enroll him in therapies Speech, ABA and OT..  Last 5 years lo it is becoming a big problem especially in Indian families in the US. Especially boys almost 50% are at autism risk, no one knows why.. My sisters son was diagnosed as medium at 3. He was in speech, OT and ABA till 6 years. Now he is India 10 years old, class topper and very intelligent like a little scientist.. His brain develops in a different way like half human, half machine. Now he can speak in 6 different languages.

Wow

i know a tech guy too... super smart

Autism phones choosthe vachedhi kadha brothers andaru phones valla autism anukontaru kani kadhu..

My son when he was 2 years old doctor said he has autism too with out doing anything ..Mmeu cheppina konni points pattukoni adhi autism ani determine chesindhi..Konnalu speech thearpay chesadu insuranc paid everything for us..After some time same doctor said she dont have autism devlomental delays andhi aa truvathi malli he has ADHD anukonta andhi aa taruvathi malla speech delay andhii.. After so many doctors trips and so many specialists pedda result emi telya ledhu.. Mmeu vadilesamu emi cheyakunda inkaa..day l nunchi baga complaints vachey he never talks or doesnt pay attention hitting other kids..Lack of communication and what not..Day care lo vivi complaints roju almost.he went to KG last year similar complaints school nunchi.

1 year lo teacher tho 1 time kuda matlada ledhu..Pushing kids and not folowing instructions ani sava dobbaru,Last  3 months idk what miracle happened to him.. he started talking to teacher and clas baga alvatu ayyadu at the end teacher was extremely happy about the change. He will go to 1 st grade this year..

Now he can read small book by himself and math baga chestunnadu..He is very hyper active night 10 ki kuda super energy levels vuntai..my son is 6 now he is doing fine now. he has very good memory he can reocllect things from 2 years back which i wont even remember.Inka 6 year kid laga aythe cheyadu and atladadu..in 2/3 years he will be there..

My suggestion to new parents:

1)Give time and observe them closely what they are doing and how they respond various activites

2)Dont complain evrything to doctor (minor things) Ikkada doctors darunam ga cheptaaru vellu (memu India lo choopistha your overeacting ani titadu doctor )

3)Interaction ekkvuu vundali and need to entertain them..control ipad time to 60 mins per day

4)Take them to library twice in a week

5)Take them to parks where there are  lot of kids.

6)Mana kida kosam amana anadaulu konni pakkana pettali

Because of him i gave up my tv ,cinemas ,poker and games outside.

every one develop at their own pace ..all are not same in this world..Some  might need little  push in things.

Don't worry bro... worst case...Autism is not too bad and it's now in around 6% kids. You have more resources and help today with supportive groups and medical information.

A friend of mine has a paralyzed son on a wheel chair. He is still taking him to art and Kumon classes, massages him twice a day, spend a lot of time talking and physiotherapy.

One of my colleague lost his 5 year old son in an accident while crossing the road right in front of him hit by a car. Imagine his grief and guilt.

So sad bro. It's really sad.

pilusthay palukuthda...

I have observed few things here.

1. When I enter home from office he knows I came to home. So he will come to me.

2. When I called him he will come few times 5 out of 10 times

3. But if I make some plastic noise he will come always because he thinks am openig candy or biscuit packet and gives more gesture for something to eat.

4. Initially he doesn't used to listen at all but changed now little bit.
