Desis these days want to be more unique than fellow desis,  asians, etc. Here are some ways they do:

- Avoid Toyota and Lexus

- Honda and Acura are fine. Acura MDX

- Avoid VW, but get their luxury Audi Q5, instead of BMW X5

I will avoid all german cars bro... costly to maintain and basically money pits after 80k miles.. audi, merc and bmw are all the same.. instead get lexus or highend toyata suv... they are getting much better at driving dynamics, not costly to maintain and reliable. They offer more value to money

You know what these guys do with Audi Q5? They don't use such cars for commute, just to take their family to visit a bunch of friends.  They have an extra car for commute to work. They put 5K miles per annum on Q5. That's what my colleague told me.  It is like those guys in India in old days, who buy some car and keep it in the front yard to show off, while taking auto rikshaw to a local market. That mentality.

Pros: you enjoy it, until the warranty period is over.

Cons: expensive to fix, if you want to keep the car past its warranty

That's why 60% of German vehicles are leased. The trade-in value of 2017 audi Q5 premium plus with 20K mileas is $25k = 50% of what one paid.

Nenu ML350 vadatha. 2010 model.

servicing is yearly once. Regular aithe 200 avvuddi. There’s a general advice on any car, if you’re buying a new one keep 2% of it value aside every year. First lo avasaram raakapoina, over a period of 8-10 years adi mottam kharchu aipoddi.

don't take extended warranty. Okavela edaina major repair vachi nee accumulated amount aipothe....just sell the car after repair, that’s the selling point.

overall merc is good and aa feel e veru. It’s worth it. I personally suggest GL 450.
