tacobell fan
07/13/2019: S. 386 Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act Bill Update This update shed two lights for the prospect for this legislation bill. The sponsor of the Senate bill, Senator Mike Lee, make a speech on June 27, 2019 that Senator Lee and Senator Grassley appaently agreed to accomodate and add the Senator Grassley's amendment to the S. 386 bill in the Senate. This information gives a positive prospect for the potential passage of this bill in the Senate in the future. Should this happen, because of the amendment, the House H.R. 1044 and the Senate S. 386 bills will be ended up with the compromise process and then go back to the floors of the two chambers. It will be interesting to see how the member of the House will react to the compromise bill. Interesting. We will keep eye on the development of this legislative process very closely. UPDATE: 09/18/2019: Senator Mike Lee Reportedly Scheduled to Push on the Senate Floor "Unanimous Consent" to Pass H.R. 1044 as Amended by S. 386 Various sources, including am22tech and others, indicate that Senator Mike Lee, the sponsor of S. 386, the senate version of the House H.R. 1044, the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2019 that passed the House on unanimous consent on the House floor, is plan to introduce a Senate unanimous consent vote on the Senate floor tomorrow. Should he be successful to pass the bill on unanimous consent vote, the H.R. 1044 House bill will go back to the House and Rep. Zoe Lofgren, the Chairwomen of the House Judiciary Committee is likely to push the amended H.R. 1044 bill to pass in the House again. The development on the Senate site appears to be accomodation of Senator Grassley's amendment bill to S. 386 on H-1B restrictions and Senator Paul Ryan's decision not to push for his own bill. Please stay tuned for the Senate floor tomorrow!!!

kichikamukavu
Senate is not that easy to pass . Unless they want to spend 1 week of time or unanimous concent.
acuman
The chances of passing in this congress are very low because senate to act lot of awareness from beneficiaries is needed in recess period.
