Ammuu... Marriage through GC lo first conditional 2 years istharu... then you can apply for extension or 2.5 years US residence untey they will be eligible to file N400 (citizenship ) directly while the extension application is in process...

now the extensions (they are called Removal of Conditions) are taking 14 to 20 months depending on Processing centers... so lot of people filing for N400 after 2.5 years in US...

In some cases this is absolutely possible no doubt. However if this were to be the motive to search for a partner you would end up with someone you would be totally unhappy with for the rest of your life.

And in case you were to go for a divorce because you are unhappy you will end up paying half your pay check towards alimony(restrictions apply). So GC kosam pelli chesukotam worst option imaginable.
