There is not a single Indian song on YouTube with over a billion views as of date. The top song has crappy melody and has Punjabi attires with no mass/national/international appeal and so, it is just a Punjabi/regional sentiment. But there are so many non-Indian songs with multi-billion views.

India is the LARGEST producer of movies and songs in the world and the second most populous country. Why copy Western music if it is not the best? Gangnam Style, etc.

Our old kings have stated, "Telugu is the best language in the country!". Which other music is better than Telugu music after Western music?

Bollywood music gets views based on just hero and heroine - even if the music sounds like spiritual bhajan/gazal with lousy melody and no personality. If a music director gets a project to work with a big-hero movie (SRK, Salman, etc), he is set for life even if he gives crappy music.
