No one has promised special status to anyone, it was a hoax which CBN tried to use to his benefit but eventually Jagan managed to get the maximum mileage out of it. 

Special status was never promised to anyone. Previous government in 2014, as a political promise to run up to the elections have promised Special status.

I don’t understand why does AP needs a commercial center like hydrrabad ?

There are many states in india which does not have Hyderabad size cities but still thriving. Look at Punjab and Haryana, they don’t have bigger metropolitan cities but they are thriving...

CBN has planted this idea of Singapore size things in people’s brain and now people think development is all about building a biggest.

It was not an election promise. Don’t try to twist words. He is not making election promises in Rajya Sabha.

In a debate in the Rajya Sabha on the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act on 20 February 2014, then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that SCS would be "extended to the successor State of Andhra Pradesh for a period of five years." This oral submission by the then PM has been the basis for A.P.'s claim to the status.^[1]

You are not the public of AP. You are some outsider commenting on this issue and you are coming up with some vague references about other states. Why should we follow what Punjab and Haryana are doing? Just because their circumstances are working(a big if) doesn’t mean that it will work for us.

He was a very good orator and had in depth knowledge ...ithani mata sonia Gandhi vini untey...Congress ki e gathi pattedhi kadhu in both Telugu states...I think he was vehemently against partnership with tdp ...both at national level and state level...he was also against teaming up with kcr and his team ...he wanted Congress to be the sole benefactor of giving the state...but ...kcr in 2014 and cbn in 2019 had bypassed him and his views...leading to the ultimate demise of Congress...in both states!
