Jaipal reddy was a supporter of Telangana, big just being a supporter, that doesn’t solve the problem. It needed political solution and mandate and majority also need to be taken into account..

@bold, Perfectly said. Andhuke veellani spineless leaders anedhi, they change their stand so shamelessly based on political scenarios and pressures. Andhuke they were not successful in mobilizing and uniting people from grass-root level for Telangana cause.

When Indira Gandhi told PV Narsim Rao to implement land reforms, he implemented them so fast with the help of "karanams" in AP. Basically, the state apparatus told PV that reforms were hard to implement. So, he called all Karanams to Hyd, most of them are brahmins those days.   Then his opponents (Jalagam Vengal Rao lobby) went to Indira to complain about PV. That's how PV got sacked from his CM post.

That's when PV learned fundamental lessons of politics:  just be paradoxical, just delay, just do incremental work but don't change paradigms.

That’s why TG agitation needed the resilience and perseverance. It was wide open for takers based on those parameters (considering the immense support from people). And TRS grabbed it with both hands.
