yeah, Triple Talaq is now criminable offence...bill cleared..

121 is the half way majority mark if the strength is 242...kani AIADMK,TRS,JDU,JDS, and inkonni parties walk out chesinaru...so strength of the house came down to 213 and BJP and allies had 107+ and had a smooth sailing...

President signs okati pending which should happen in a couple of weeks and then this landmark bill will come into effect,...

దిల్లీ: ట్రిపుల్‌ తలాక్‌ బిల్లుకు రాజ్యసభ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. ఈ బిల్లును కేంద్ర న్యాయశాఖ మంత్రి రవిశంకర్‌ ప్రసాద్‌ రాజ్యసభలో ప్రవేశపెట్టగా..  నాలుగు గంటల పాటు వాడీ వేడి చర్చ అనంతరం ఓటింగ్‌ జరిగింది. బిల్లుకు అనుకూలంగా 99, వ్యతిరేకంగా 84 ఓట్లు వచ్చాయి. లెక్కింపు అనంతరం బిల్లు ఆమోదం పొందినట్లు రాజ్యసభ ఛైర్మన్‌ వెంకయ్యనాయుడు ప్రకటించారు. బిల్లుకు తొలుత మూజువాణి ఓటుతో ఆమోదం తెలపగా.. విపక్షాలు డివిజన్‌ కోరడంతో ఓటింగ్‌ నిర్వహించారు. ఈ ఓటింగ్‌కు వైకాపా, తెదేపా, తెరాస, అన్నాడీఎంకే, డీఎంకే, జేడీయూ దూరంగా ఉండిపోగా.. బీఎస్పీ సభ నుంచి వాకౌట్‌ చేసింది. ఎన్సీపీకి చెందిన శరద్‌ పవార్‌, ప్రఫుల్‌పటేల్‌, నలుగురు కాంగ్రెస్‌ సభ్యులు కూడా ఓటింగ్‌కు దూరంగా ఉండిపోయారు. బీజేడీ ఈ బిల్లుకు మద్దతు తెలిపింది.

walk out enduku chestaru ? they are okay with the bill but if the bill is not completely convincing, they will abstain from voting...this is kind of neutral supporting of the bill...danikosam walkout chestaru...unlike TDP which opposed the bill, ante TDP ki triple talaq ki positive ga vunaru...TRS vallu vaddu antunaru...
