For Halal

1.The person slaughtering must be Muslim 
2. He must face Qibla
3. He must mention Allah’s name (usually people say: Bismillah/Aluhu Akbar/Al hamdulillah/ )

Muslims not eating meat cut by Hindus is perfectly fine because of their religion 

BUT

Hindus demanding that religious beliefs for food be respected is NOT accepted.

This is NOT about who eats what.

This is about Zomato's duplicity when they were asked to honored religious sentiments of a Hindu.

You are confusing two things. I know what halal is. And I don't care for that. I think people associate halal with cleanliness, freshness of meat and not religious. They do not know what actually halal means. Only Muslims actually care about halal. Just like kosher for Jews.

Now coming to this issue, Muslims will eat meat prepared in a halal way delivered by a Hindu
