Article 35A of the constitution gives special powers and authority to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

It has its own constitution, own personal laws, flag, and complete autonomy in the state's internal affairs and union government only has control over the national security issues but nothing else...

non-residents of J and K cannot buy land, own land, cannot apply for public sector jobs, educational institutions, and lot of reservations which are not seen any where in India...

Troop buildup has been happening for quite some time now, Pahalgam,Budhgam,pathankot,gulmarg,sonmarg,Srinagar etc regions which are no way connected to the amarnath piligrimage route , even in these places there is heavy troop deployment...

that build up was because of continues activities like elections, local elections, panchyat board elections etc...

they didnt get rest since 208 December..

anduke rotation unde and huge buildup..teseddam ani decide aye lopu, this input came..

so they are resending new groups and building up security...

aaah got it, I know Kashmir is sort of an autonomous body... but I didnt know it was called as article 35a... makes sense
