Honestly, it is good to have such editorials for political reasons. Imagine every party, every newspaper, every TV channel supported this move, it would appear as dictatorship.

There will always be a second side of the coin for all things... Read and see why possibly they have mentioned it, don't expect every one to blindly support a move taken for a particular reason, it may have some negative implications also it depends on how negatives are overcome by positive things and that will decide the fate of the move.
