Okay... do I need to ask them about old passport number instead of new passport? I’ll reach out to our local CBP office and update this thread foe future reference

Just went to CBP and came back online i-94 takes priority than the passport one... if u have two passport we need to have the new passport number on i-94... it will help any one in the same boat... CBP officer said it needs to be corrected...
