After what had been described as a spike in radiation levels following an explosion at a military base in the Arkhangelsk region, Russian news agency Interfax reports that residents of Nyonoksa have been asked to leave the area on Wednesday morning while work is carried out nearby. The regional governor stated that it is not an evacuation, but rather “a routine measure,” according to the news agency.
