...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM WEDNESDAY TO 8 PM PDT THURSDAY... * TEMPERATURES...WIDESPREAD ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 95-105 DEGREES. * IMPACTS...THE HEAT MAY CAUSE AN INCREASED RISK OF HEAT RELATED ILLNESSES. HEAT RELATED ILLNESSES SUCH AS HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT STROKE WILL BE POSSIBLE. PEOPLE MOST VULNERABLE INCLUDE THOSE WHO ARE SPENDING CONSIDERABLE TIME OUTDOORS...THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING...YOUNG CHILDREN...THE ELDERLY... AND THOSE WITH CHRONIC AILMENTS. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A HEAT ADVISORY MEANS THAT A PERIOD OF HOT TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED. HOT TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE A SITUATION IN WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE POSSIBLE. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR- CONDITIONED ROOM...STAY OUT OF THE SUN...CHECK UP ON RELATIVES AND NEIGHBORS...AND DON'T LEAVE KIDS AND PETS IN UNATTENDED VEHICLES. &&

...HOT WEATHER EXPECTED ACROSS INLAND PORTIONS OF EAST AND NORTH BAYS AND THE SANTA CLARA VALLEY... .HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO CALIFORNIA FROM THE DESERT SOUTHWEST WILL BRING A WARM AIRMASS TO THE AREA DURING THE WEEKEND WITH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO BE WELL ABOVE AVERAGE. WIDESPREAD HIGH TEMPERATURES OF 95 TO 105 DEGREES ARE LIKELY ACROSS INLAND AREAS WHICH WILL IMPACT THOSE WHO ARE SENSITIVE TO THE HEAT.
