హైదరాబాద్‌ మెట్రో రైలు సరికొత్త రికార్డు!

హైదరాబాద్‌: హైదరాబాద్‌ మెట్రోరైలు సరికొత్త రికార్డు నెలకొల్పింది. మెట్రో రైలులో ఒక్కరోజులో ప్రయాణించే వారి సంఖ్య 3లక్షలకు దాటింది. బుధవారం ఒక్కరోజే 3లక్షల 6వేల మంది ప్రయాణికులను తమ గమ్యస్థానాలకు చేర్చినట్లు హైదరాబాద్‌ మెట్రో రైలు ఎండీ ఎన్వీఎస్‌ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. త్వరలోనే హైటెక్‌ సిటీ నుంచి రాయదుర్గం స్టేషన్‌ వరకు మెట్రో సేవలను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొస్తామన్నారు. సేఫ్టీ క్లియరెన్స్‌ వచ్చిన తర్వాత అమీర్‌పేట-హైటెక్‌ సిటీ మార్గంలో 5 నిమిషాలకు ఒక మెట్రో రైలును నడుపుతామని చెప్పారు. రద్దీ సమయాల్లో 3 నిమిషాలకు ఒకటి నడిపేందుకు ప్రణాళికలు రచిస్తున్నామని ఆయన వివరించారు.

Chandra Babu Naidu requested the erstwhile NDA government at the Centre to sanction Metro Rail to Hyderabad in 2003. Because of Naidu’s efforts, Hyderabad Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) was sanctioned for Hyderabad first and later Metro Rail was approved. CBN demanded that the Metro should be brought to Hyderabad, when it was confined to Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.

Naidu also said that India's 'Metro Man', Dr E Sreedharan had carried out a study on the feasibility of the Hyderabad Metro, on his request.

When asked about not getting an invite to the Global Entrepreneurial  Summit (GES) being hosted at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Naidu pointed out that his TDP government had played a vital role in developing the area, along with the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad.

Last week, Leaders of the Congress and the TRS in Telangana lashed out against each other, to claim credit for the HMR.

Hitting out against the TRS, which he claimed did not make any contribution to the project, Uttam said it was a case of ‘hard work for caterpillar, publicity for butterfly’.

 TDP - CBN developed Hyderabad, including development of Cyberabad, attracting IT global giants, setting up of Indian School of Business, Increasing Hyderabad revenue like never before, initiating Greenfield international airport at Shamshabad, outer ring road and Hyderabad metro rail project

its an amazing addition to the city.... journey time easy ga half kanna thakkuva aipotundi... asal oka line mehdipatnam/chilkur side kooda esthe sagam college students ki inka easy aithadi... 

I hope they will expand this into more corners of the city
