Municipal Minister Botsa Satyanarayana made some crucial comments about his Government’s Opinion on Amaravati. “The Government is discussing the Capital. Very soon, we will be taking a decision on it. The Government will reveal its opinion in the announcement which will come very soon,” Botsa said. “Amaravati Construction Cost is becoming more than normal. A lot of public money is getting wasted as a result. We have seen how several areas got submerged due to the recent floods. We have to construct canals and dams to prevent that. Due to that, there is an additional burden on the government,” Botsa said. If we have to read between the lines, it is evident that Botsa Satyanarayana is hinting about a change in the Capital. YSR Congress government is busy undoing everything that has happened during Chandrababu Naidu’s decision. But this is going to be a very big decision if they decide to change the capital. If at all, Jagan decides to bite the bullet, it will be a happy news for Donakonda where several YSR Congress leaders purchased lands before 2014 elections.
