Brazil's President Bolsonaro claims NGOs may be burning the Amazon

Fires have been raging in Brazil's Amazon rainforest for three weeks. On Wednesday, Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro reacted with a hypothesis that NGOs may be linked to the fires after he cut their funding. "It could be, I'm not saying it was, but it could be a criminal action from these members of NGOs to create narratives against me", Bolsonaro said without providing evidence.
